So first sorry for the delay in bring the blog up to speed with things. They have just being a bit manic for me and work and other bit's have go in the way and this has meant that the lorry has not had all my attention. This is not because I did not wasn't to do it I just did not have enough time to do it.

So after much thinking and talking about it we decided to go to Whitby Abbey on Halloween Night. Now in for a penny in for a pound. There are some very strange and scary stories about the Abbey and especially about it on Halloween night. yet as a true God fearing family we decided to go and check it out. 

So this month has seemed to get away from us even before it has begun. There has been so much happening this month that it feels like if I had blinked I would have missed half of the month.

So over the last few weeks we have being very busy in getting things started on Daisy. We have had the insulation boards delivered.  This was a great day and really made us feel like we are making progress with the project.

So it has been a very busy few weeks since i last posted. There has been lots of work to do on the lorry but it has been the same stuff day in day out hence not posted much as this would have been very boring for you all. It really felt like this was never going to come to an end but it has. This last week we went and got the battens of wood for the ceiling, walls and floor that is going to go between the PIR insulation boards and this for me was a big moment and was really great to do.

So what have we being doing. well the last few weeks have been spent taking pallets apart so that we can use them on the build project. This has seem to go on for ever and ever. Yet when I now look at the pile of wood that we have from this I can see that it is very much worth it.

PROJECT UP DATE!

A little bit of light reading in prep for what we have coming up and what we are doing. As always Mannie willing to lend a helping hand. She is working hard....

So Beaches and wheelchairs don't mix and yet I'm still able to make the most of it. It was great to be able to get near the beach at South Landing at Flamborough and Mannie also enjoyed herself.

So this weekend was spent taking the metal railing around the side of the lorry of so that we can get ready to get the insulation in. We are also able to start looking at the wiring as we  got the Artic blue cable we need to be able to start running the wiring around the lorry. 

Sometimes we get so hung up on where we are going we forget to enjoy the ride there.

So not only do we get a new website for Legless Not Life Less - Living the nightmare chasing the dream, we also get a new section were we are able to blog.  This is a great feature to our new website and so I would encourage to check out this space often as we will be posting also sorts of information and news feeds here.
